Hi, I'm Bailey, the bear cub of love. It’s my job to spread God's love to everyone. When we understand how God loves us, it will in turn, make it easier for us to learn to love and accept others. Being a bear cub, I am curious by nature. So, does that mean I have to be best friends with everyone I meet? Do I always have to accept all the things that others do? No. Christian love is showing kindness and respect to everyone--even those you don't agree with. It's giving to others knowing that they may, or may not, want to give back to you. Sometimes it's giving of yourself.

Today, the word love is overused. We might hear someone say things like, "I love chocolate" or "I love your new belt." However, we really don't have true emotions or feelings for chocolate or a new belt. What we usually mean is that we just really like or admire something. We should try to save the word love for things of real meaning. Like "I love you Mom and Dad" or "Jesus loves me". Those are good things that we can and should give our hearts emotions to.

The Bible says "Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions."
